National Citizen Service- Youth Interaction

This weekend marked the beginning of our involvement with NCS – The National Citizen Service- challenge which is where teenagers between the ages of 15-17 go out into the community giving back through time and care. The programme works by the kids spending 2 days at a time with our residents talking with them about different subjects and about their lives comparing the generations. They facilitate activities and the last weekend the kids run the day based on all that they have learnt about our residents whether it be a theatre production a games day or an art show they are in Charge.
