Pets as Therapy Visit!

Pets as Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983 by Lesley Scott-Ordish.
They enhance health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of trusted volunteers with their behaviourally assessed Pets. Our Residents were truly delighted to meet Amy, a beautiful Lurcher. Amy was extremely nervous as it was her first role in meeting Residents in a care home setting, but we hope she will soon settle down and come and see us as often as she can. The effect on some of our Residents was truly remarkable.
